I got these for my boyfriend, as kind of loungey shorts to wear around the house in the summer. So far the weather hasn't allowed for much wear, but upon opening these up, you can tell right away that they are made of a quality material. They are lightweight, though, so I think they will be a good summer short. Like someone else said in their review, my bf agrees that these are really versatile - he says he can see himself wearing them at home as loungey shorts, but also would feel fine going out to run errands and stuff in them since they don't really have a strictly athletic look to them. He did note that these seemed to be somewhat of a "slim" fit, which he just isn't really used to since he has been mostly wearing jeans lately. That's the only reason we are knocking off a star - I don't think the description noted a slimmer fit anywhere, so that's just something to be aware of. (However, you can kind of tell from the photos that these have a little slimmer legs to them.) FYI, he is 5'6" and ordered a small, and he said he thinks it's the right size for him. Oh, and I was super excited about all the pockets! He says the front pockets are nice, but not necessarily needed - he finds the back pocket more useful. Overall, good quality product, especially at the price!
