My wife loves this as a base layer when flying to/from Hawaii from Northwest to visit her dad...strip down to it when too hot in Hawaii, layer over it when closer to home. The dotted version is less revealing than plain color version given slightly snug fit of medium and thin fabric. In Hawaii it was cooler than a light weight cotton tank with a higher cut in front and back. Length is ok when worn with old fashioned pants or skirts that come up to waist level, or close to it, rather than lower rise.
