I dont have 5% body fat and legs like a chicken like the photo shows but I am still a 34 inch waist. I'm 5'10 and 180 lbs with solid quads. I bought the 34 inch size and although they fit I would prefer they be a bit looser. In the old days we called these baggies because they were baggy and comfortable and easy to maneuver around in. These are a bit slender in the legs and not a hair larger than 34 inch. If I gain 5 lbs then these will be tight. I should have checked but I would have liked a wee bit of elastic in the waist.. These have none.. I'll use them but would still prefer a bit more wiggle room.Got these for my BF and we went to the lake to jetski and hang out. He loved that they have a lining inside, they are light, comfy and dry fast! He wants more! The colors R great too. We will have to get a couple more! Unfortunately they were a bit too small around the waist and too short in the crotch. (Admittedly, he does have difficulty finding clothes that fit comfortably and properly due to his height.) So, my husband who is 5'10" 180 pounds inherited the trunks. They are fit him perfectly! And, they are attractive/flattering on. My husband said they are very comfortable and dry quickly.
